Trudy Miller, LCSW
Trudy Miller is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Family Therapists. With a passion for supporting children and families, she brings a fresh perspective to recruiting, training, and matching foster children with families. As the Division Director of Therapeutic Foster Care and Adoption, Trudy oversees therapeutic foster care for children and youth statewide. She also provides respite services to foster and adoptive parents while ensuring compliance with licensing standards, promoting ethical practices, professional supervision, and the implementation of evidence-based practices across all therapeutic foster care programs.
My Story
Before joining Southern Christian Services, Trudy dedicated 27 years to Mississippi Child Protection Services, as the Regional Director of the Central area counties for half of her career and retired working with the Office of Legal Counsel.
Trudy holds a Bachelor of Social Work from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Social Work from Jackson State University.
She and her husband are proud parents of a daughter and three sons. When she’s not working, Trudy enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling with her daughter for competitive cheerleading, and residing in Brandon, Mississippi, on the Ross Barnett Reservoir. She is also an active member of Pinelake Church on the Reservoir.
