The Conerly family have been a licensed foster family since 2019. We asked the Conerly family, why are more foster parents needed? The response was, “Until every child has a home or safe place, there will always be a need for foster parents. Kids need a safe place to call home, role models, and help with their needs being met. They need people who will be there for them every single day.”
The Conerly family told us the best part of their journey through fostering has been waking up every morning thankful for their family. They don’t remember how things were prior to being foster parents. To them, this is not a new norm, it feels like they have been together forever.
